New Creative Hub at 1059 Market Welcomes Holy Stitch!

As part of Market Street Arts, the Creative Hubs program activates new and underutilized spaces for artists, designers, and entrepreneurs along Market Street.

The first of Market Street Arts’ new Creative Hubs, located at 1059 Market, opens May 16 as Holy Stitch!, a San Francisco-based custom jeans company and sewing school, moves into the space. With installations and infrastructure by Geary and Hyde Designs, 1059 Market will house a retail store, tailor shop, classes, workshops, and special events.

The 1059 Market location underscores the Mid-Market neighborhood’s role in fashion and design, with an expansive streetwear culture already existing throughout the area. The Grand Opening will feature clothing customization and the first official release of Holy Stitch! Merchandise to benefit its students and interns and subsidize programs.

Save the date on Thursday, May 16 for the Holy Stitch! Grand Opening celebration.
