Tenderloin Music & Arts Festival
Psyched! Radio
WHEN: May 16-18
WHERE: Various Tenderloin Venues & UN Plaza
Psyched! Radio is coming to TL & Mid-Market.
Psyched! Radio San Francisco, TLCBD, and SFOEWD proudly present the second annual Tenderloin Music & Arts Festival—a three-day celebration of radical creativity, grassroots community-building, and Bay Area sound and spirit. With over 100 performers, including bands, DJs, poets, and drag queens, this free, all-ages event spans 13 shows across beloved Tenderloin spaces: Civic Center Plaza (featuring two outdoor stages), Dodge Alley, Edinburgh Castle, Emperor Norton’s Boozeland, Shovels, HA-RA, Kozy Kar, and more.
At the center of the festival is Civic Center Plaza, transformed for the weekend into a high-energy hub for live music and performance. Expect genre-defying sets from Son Rompe Pera, Fake Fruit, Marina Fages, Juicebumps, False Flag, Pure Hex, Pink Breath of Heaven, Cosmic Kitten, Buzzed Lightbeer, and dozens more from San Francisco, Oakland, and beyond.
The Tenderloin Music & Arts Festival is a natural extension of Psyched! Radio San Francisco’s ethos: fiercely independent, unapologetically DIY, and deeply committed to platforming underrepresented voices in music and art. Known for its flagship event, Psyched! Fest—which has grown exponentially over the past three years—and its 24/7 broadcast station supporting underground artists, Psyched! Radio has been recognized for revitalizing the Bay Area’s live music scene with passion, care, and inclusivity.
This festival centers not just performance, but place. The Tenderloin has long been a crucible for cultural resistance, mutual aid, and neighborhood pride. This event honors that legacy, inviting artists and audiences to gather in celebration of creativity that is free, community-driven, and unapologetically local. From poetic interventions and sound art to punk shows and cumbia breakdowns, every set is part of a larger statement: art belongs in the streets, and everyone deserves access to it.
As with all Psyched! productions, this weekend is more than a lineup—it’s an invitation to take part in something shared. Whether you're dancing in the plaza, catching a late set at a dive bar, or hearing a local poet for the first time, you're participating in a living archive of Bay Area artistry, resistance, and joy.
Free, all ages, and open to all.
May 16–18. Tenderloin, SF.
Let’s make history—together.
